As well as being CRB checked, all new staff will be registered with the ‘Independent Safeguarding Authority’ (ISA), an organisation that has created a ‘Vetting and Barring Scheme’ to help prevent unsuitable people from working in the care sector. (This will come into affect as from July 2010)
